2019 Girls Program Meeting is 3 days away

March 3, 2019 by nvtyll_webmaster Leave a Comment

It’s hard to believe that lacrosse season is upon us and that the 2019 Girls Program Meeting is 3 days away. The 2019 Girls Program Meeting will be held on March 6th at 6:30pm in the Shelburne Town Offices located at 5420 Shelburne Rd, Shelburne, VT 05482.

We ask that one representative from each program attend this meeting, ideally this person is the point person for their program and can function as a liaison between the program and the NVTYLL board. During the2019 Girls Program Meeting we will be reviewing the schedule, rules, and registration process for the upcoming season.

NVTYLL board members will be in attendance to answer questions about the transition between leagues, take meeting notes and meet those involved in the various girls programs. Additionally Ryan Larkum from US Lacrosse will be in attendance to talk about their support and involvement in growing the game in Vermont.

Code Of Conduct

The NVTYLL has adopted the policy and philosophy of the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) with respect to “Honoring the Game” for all NVTYLL participants including players, coaches, officials, and spectators as follows:

PCA believes the time has come to unite behind a powerful new term, “Honoring the Game.” Coaches, parents, and athletes need to realize that an Honoring the Game perspective needs to replace the common win-at-all-cost perspective.
