Head Coach US Lacrosse Level One Training

On March 31st 2018 US Lacrosse will be hosting a Level One coaches Training in Barre VT at the BOR Arena.

The Level 1 curriculum is designed to introduce coaches to the responsibilities and philosophies of coaching and how to provide a safe and athlete-centered environment that emphasizes positive growth and sportsmanship. You’ll acquire the tools to teach rules, basic individual skills and basic team concepts to beginning players of all ages.

NVTYLL Head coaches at the 5th/6th and 7th/8th level of play are required to be US Lacrosse Level One certified. Teams without certified head coaches will pay a fine.

NVTYLL League Meeting 2018

League Meeting Day will be on March 14th from 6:30pm – 9pm at the Williston Town Hall. All League coaches and program representatives are encouraged to attend this meeting and learn about how the 2018 season will be structured. Changes in rules and the 3rd/4th grade game structure will be reviewed in addition to league fees. Coaches will be provided mouth guards and be provided time to schedule scrimmage at the end of the meeting.

If you have a matter which you would like specifically addressed at the meeting please contact the board in advance. We look forward to seeing you on March 14th!

March 14th is League Meeting Day

It’s that time of year again!

League Meeting Day will be on March 14th from 6:30pm – 9pm at the Williston Town Hall. All League coaches and program representatives are encouraged to attend this meeting and learn about how the 2018 season will be structured. Changes in rules and the 3rd/4th grade game structure will be reviewed in addition to league fees.

Please come prepared with team numbers and hosting availability for the 2019 season! We want to schedule the season as quickly as possible for you and your players.

Coaches will be provided mouth guards and be provided time to schedule scrimmage at the end of the meeting.
